Position Overview

We are looking for a professional, welcoming, and customer-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Kisumu. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hotel front office operations and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
  • Handle check-in, check-out, and reservation procedures efficiently.
  • Manage telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, process bookings, and update systems.
  • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Handle cash, billing, and payment transactions accurately.
  • Provide information and recommendations about hotel amenities and attractions.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns professionally and timely.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Receptionist in a hotel/hospitality environment (preferred).
  • KCSE; Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality or Front Office is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
