Position Overview
We are looking for a professional, welcoming, and customer-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Kisumu. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hotel front office operations and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
- Handle check-in, check-out, and reservation procedures efficiently.
- Manage telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate guest records, process bookings, and update systems.
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
- Handle cash, billing, and payment transactions accurately.
- Provide information and recommendations about hotel amenities and attractions.
- Address guest complaints or concerns professionally and timely.
Requirements
- Experience as a Receptionist in a hotel/hospitality environment (preferred).
- KCSE; Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality or Front Office is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
