The family of 14-year-old Tashley Akinyi from Kisumu is in distress following her disappearance on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Tashley was last seen leaving St. Theresa’s Cathedral Catholic Church in Kibuye after attending Mass with her grandmother, Rose Adongo. Ms. Adongo, who remained behind for a Catholic Women’s Association meeting, expected Tashley to return home for lunch. However, when she arrived home around 3 p.m. and found that Tashley had not returned, the family grew increasingly concerned.
Tashley is a Grade Seven pupil at MM Shah Primary School. She was last seen wearing a white dress and jungle-green shoes, and her hair had been freshly shaved.
The family is pleading with the public for any information that could assist in locating her. They urge anyone who may have seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact local authorities or share any leads via social media.
