Position Overview: We are looking for a highly driven and technically skilled Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the engineering, construction, or laboratory equipment industry. This role requires a strong understanding of our product range, the ability to communicate complex technical details to customers, and a passion for driving sales growth across Kenya.  Our product offerings include: Surveying Equipment, Material Testing Equipment,  Water & Environmental Testing Equipment, Laboratory Equipment,  Instrumentation Tools,  Vocational Training Equipment and more. 

We work closely with government agencies, private companies, contractors, universities, and research institutions to supply them with world-class equipment that meets their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our market reach and increase revenue.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key clients, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Work closely with government institutions, universities, engineering firms, and construction companies to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Prepare and present product demonstrations, sales pitches, and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

2. Marketing & Brand Awareness

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Attend and represent Nariana Enterprises at trade shows, industry exhibitions, and conferences to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Manage social media presence and assist in creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms to engage with potential clients.

3. Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and their applications to provide accurate technical advice to clients.
  • Conduct product training sessions for clients, ensuring they understand the proper use and benefits of our equipment.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and technical teams to stay updated on new products and innovations in the industry.

4. Reporting & Performance Management

  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline progress, and market feedback to management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
  • Maintain an organized database of leads, customers, and sales activities.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction, laboratory, engineering, or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications.
  • Proven track record in strategic marketing planning and sales execution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel across Kenya for sales meetings, exhibitions, and client visits.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
