Sales Executive

Our client is seeking to hire a passionate and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive business growth. The Job is located in Kisumu.

Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Executive

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and field visits.
  • Presenting promoting, and selling products/services to prospective clients.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets
  • Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates.
  • Identify and approach potential customers such as businesses, schools, government institutions, and individuals..
  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, and close sales deals to meet or exceed targets.
  • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to provide insights to the management team.
  • Recommending suitable products based on technical requirements and budget.
  • Following up on sales, check client satisfaction, and offer after-sales support.
  • Assisting clients in warranty claims, product exchanges, or repairs when necessary.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns with product knowledge and promotional offers.
  • Submitting weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, walkthroughs, or presentations to showcase software features, functionality, and ROI.
  • Working with technical teams to ensure proposals align with client requirements.
  • Translating client requirements into tech solutions offered by the company.
  • Ensuring smooth communication between the client and service department.
  • Continuously learning about industry trends, new features, and competitors to pitch effectively

Qualifications & Skills of Sales Executive

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience in a sales role in ICT industry is a plus
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Basic ICT knowledge
  • Team player with a positive attitude
