Accounts Clerk

Our client is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations and reports, supporting tax filings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in line with local and international standards.
  • Prepare customer and supplier statements and manage account reconciliations.
  • Analyze data received from production sites and generate relevant reports.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, withholding tax returns, and other statutory obligations on iTax.
  • Assist in the preparation of management information systems (MIS) reports as specified.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit queries and provide required documentation.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly using the company’s accounting software.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable financial regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • CPA Part II or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
