Vacancy for hotel Receptionist

Job Summary:
You will be the first point of contact for guests. You are responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling reservations, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring guests have a pleasant and smooth experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
●Greet guests warmly upon arrival and check them in/out efficiently
●Manage room reservations via phone, email, and online platforms
●Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally
●Process payments and issue receipts
●Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions
●Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel’s booking system
●Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
●Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized state
●Uphold hotel security and safety procedures

Qualifications and Skills:
●High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in hospitality is a plus.
●Proven experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred but not mandatory 
●Strong communication and interpersonal skills
●Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with booking software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
●Professional appearance and positive attitude
●Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions:
●Shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
●Position may involve standing for long periods
