Sales Staff Position at City Walk Kenya
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Staff member to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to engage with customers to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, understanding their needs and preferences
- Provide detailed product information and recommendations
- Maintain store cleanliness and attractive product displays
- Process transactions and operate POS systems efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment
- Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies
- Participate in merchandising and display management
Requirements
- 2-3 years of retail or sales experience (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented with positive attitude
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Basic POS system knowledge (advantageous)
- Professional sales techniques (upselling/cross-selling)
- Merchandising and display management experience
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing
- Proven 2-3 years retail sales experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Fluency in English and basic administrative skills
