🔧 Multi-Skilled Technician – Facilities Maintenance Role

About the Role
The Multi-Skilled Technician will provide multi-disciplinary support to ensure smooth maintenance of upgraded High Commission facilities. The successful candidate will maintain and repair various systems including electrical, plumbing, welding, and general handyman needs. This role is key in supporting phase 2 of the office upgrade, expected to run until February 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance across multiple trades.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems (lighting, sockets, boards).
- Conduct plumbing repairs and installations (taps, toilets, drainage).
- Handle welding/fabrication for custom fittings or structural repairs.
- Carry out general handyman duties like door repairs, painting, hanging signage, etc.
- Maintain clean and professional surfaces and workspaces.
- Assist in Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with HSE standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven skills in at least 3 of the following: electrical maintenance, plumbing, welding, general repairs.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and time management.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
