Counter Staff – Java House Kisumu
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and working counter at all times.
- Present a variety of menu options and suggestively sell based on customer preferences.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures during production.
- Ensure sufficient product supply through timely backup preparation.
- Take and deliver customer orders accurately and present bills on time.
- Clean kitchen tools, toilets, and general kitchen area regularly.
- Dispose waste properly and clean grease traps.
- Assist the barista and monitor stock levels at the counter.
- Perform end-of-shift stocktaking.
- Handle food preparation, presentation, and storage professionally.
Qualifications
- KCSE Certificate with a mean grade of C-
- Interest in the hospitality industry
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and articulate
- Ability to work under pressure
Experience
- Basic housekeeping skills are required
