Key Responsibilities
- Maintain mechanical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Use portable and workshop tools such as grinders, drills, and welding tools.
- Implement maintenance procedures and report on effectiveness.
- Monitor equipment condition and coordinate corrective actions.
- Collaborate in root cause analysis and incident reporting.
- Support procurement planning for spares, tools, and consumables.
- Enforce safety policies, including permit to work and lockout/tagout systems.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and operational integrity of machinery.
- Maintain strong teamwork and interdepartmental relationships.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Marine Engineering
- At least 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Technician
