📝 Job Summary
This role supports timely claims processing and billing by ensuring proper documentation, assisting with invoice submission, and coordinating between clinical and finance teams to reduce claim rejection and improve revenue assurance.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Verify pre-authorizations and prepare claim documents
- Ensure accurate invoices for cash, credit, and insurance patients
- Track rejections and support resolution of claim issues
- Liaise with front office and clinical teams for billing accuracy
- Support financial reporting, audits, and compliance with data privacy regulations
- Maintain digital/physical filing of all claims
🎓 Qualifications
- Essential: Diploma in Accounts, Business Admin, Health Records, or related
- Desirable: CPA certification
💼 Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years of hospital/insurance claims handling
- Familiarity with SHA/SHIF and private insurer procedures
- Knowledge of billing software and EMR systems
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and teamwork
