Role Context

Offer DHL Express products and services to walk-in customers at our Kisumu office. Deliver exceptional service to enhance the customer experience and ensure repeat business. Be a trusted brand ambassador representing the DHL global brand in a local setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote DHL products (TDI, E-commerce, VAS) to walk-in and telesales clients
  • Provide client-centric service, answering queries on pricing, customs, and shipping
  • Handle cash, reconcile sales proceeds, and process daily deposits accurately
  • Ensure accurate shipment data capture and facilitate timely delivery
  • Liaise with operations, billing, and customer support to resolve issues
  • Identify opportunities to upsell DHL services and retain existing clients
  • Maintain high office and personal appearance standards
  • Confidently handle customer complaints and follow up for resolution
  • Propose improvements to systems, services, and procedures

Qualifications

  • University degree (required)
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, telesales, or contact centers
  • Experience in logistics or customs clearance is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and proficiency with digital tools
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
