Are you a knowledgeable, organized, and resourceful HR professional based in Kenya? ClearDesk is looking for a Remote HR Specialist to take ownership of HR operations in the Kenyan context. This includes overseeing compliance, compensation, benefits, and onboarding—all while collaborating remotely with global teams.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to HR contact for all Kenya-based HR issues.
- Advise leadership on Kenyan labor laws and local regulations.
- Stay up to date with employment legislation and trends.
- Manage compensation and benefits structures tailored for the Kenyan market.
- Handle benefits programs including medical schemes and providers.
- Design culturally relevant onboarding and HR procedures.
- Support recruitment coordination and local hiring processes.
- Work cross-functionally with global HR, legal, and compliance teams.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
- Must be familiar with Hubstaff (time tracking software).
- Solid grasp of Kenyan labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Experience with compensation and benefits design in Kenya.
- Knowledge of local HR tools, payroll, and systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Minimum 35 Mbps internet connection and remote-readiness.
