This includes overseeing compliance, compensation, benefits, and onboarding—all while collaborating remotely with global teams.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to HR contact for all Kenya-based HR issues.
  • Advise leadership on Kenyan labor laws and local regulations.
  • Stay up to date with employment legislation and trends.
  • Manage compensation and benefits structures tailored for the Kenyan market.
  • Handle benefits programs including medical schemes and providers.
  • Design culturally relevant onboarding and HR procedures.
  • Support recruitment coordination and local hiring processes.
  • Work cross-functionally with global HR, legal, and compliance teams.

✅ Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
  • Must be familiar with Hubstaff (time tracking software).
  • Solid grasp of Kenyan labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Experience with compensation and benefits design in Kenya.
  • Knowledge of local HR tools, payroll, and systems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Minimum 35 Mbps internet connection and remote-readiness.
