Accounts Manager – Kisumu
Job Summary
The Accounts Manager will assist in managing the daily financial operations of the organization, including bookkeeping, preparing reports, and supporting compliance with accounting standards. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals eager to build a strong foundation in finance and accounting while gaining hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts receivable and payable.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems.
- Support compliance with tax requirements and statutory filings.
- Assist senior accountants during audits and financial analysis.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and documents.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA Part I/II preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of QuickBooks or Sage is a plus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
