Storekeeper Job
About the Role:
We are looking for an organized and proactive Storekeeper to manage our event inventory, including décor items, sound equipment, lighting, and furniture. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as events, hospitality, or logistics.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in storekeeping, preferably in events, hospitality, or logistics.
- Knowledge of stock systems (Excel, ERP, etc.).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and arrange equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, record, and store event materials, décor, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems daily.
- Issue and track items allocated for events, ensuring accountability.
- Inspect equipment before and after events.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or losses.
- Assist with loading/offloading items for events.
- Support periodic stock counts and audits.
- Keep the store organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
