Job Overview: Debt Recovery Officer
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Basic Salary: Ksh 15,300 gross + performance bonuses
Experience: Debt recovery experience is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Visit clients with overdue cases and persuade them to make payments
- Repossess assets from non-compliant clients
- Handle debt recovery and asset repossession professionally
- Work with police officers and government agencies
- Stay informed on laws regarding financed assets
- Prepare investigation reports on missing assets
- Compile incident reports with recommendations
- Develop innovative tracking and monitoring methods
- Prepare weekly and monthly recovery reports
Requirements
- A2 Driving Licence (MANDATORY)
- Previous experience in debt recovery (added advantage)
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Fluent in English and Swahili
