Job Overview: ERP & Data Systems Manager
Location: Kisumu City, Kenya
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Industry: Oil & Petroleum Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain single data source for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and supply-chain portals
- Maintain sales route-plan systems and HR records
- Collect and analyze external data to supplement internal data sources
- Collaborate with IT to develop automated data pipelines and validation rules
- Use demand forecasts to calculate optimal nomination volumes for OTS imports
- Monitor daily available storage space at KPC and private depots
- Issue evacuation alerts to logistics and sales teams
- Produce weekly reports on non-compliant customers and payment timelines
- Track Platts indices, import trends and competitor pricing
- Build dynamic models to forecast daily cash requirements for tax and duty payments
- Monitor foreign-exchange exposure and assess profit-and-loss impact
- Maintain risk register for supply, logistics, financial and regulatory risks
- Develop interactive dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or similar tools
- Prepare comprehensive monthly business review packs and strategic decision summaries
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce degree with IT specialization (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years experience in data systems management
- Strong experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics data management
- Experience in petroleum/oil industry (advantageous)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
