🎯 Position Summary
The Data Officer will manage, analyze, and report on all organizational data to support evidence-based decision-making. This role ensures accurate data collection, storage, and visualization to drive program effectiveness, business growth, and impact measurement.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and manage data from all G-FARM projects and operations
- Design and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards
- Generate regular reports for management, donors, and stakeholders
- Analyze data trends to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Train staff on data collection tools and procedures
- Support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, ICT, or related field
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in data management or analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or data management software
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in agribusiness, social enterprise, or development sector is an advantage
