Job Overview: Technical Solar Sales Representative
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Experience: Minimum 3 years in solar sales (solar panels, batteries, inverters)
Education: BSc Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or B.Com with sales qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve solar sales targets
- Collaborate with management to develop effective sales strategies
- Proactively identify and engage with potential clients through networking and cold calling
- Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess client energy needs
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of solar products including technical specifications
- Prepare detailed sales proposals with project scope, costs, and timelines
- Coordinate with installation and technical teams for seamless project execution
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
- Conduct workshops and informational sessions for clients
Requirements:
- BSc Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or B.Com with sales qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in solar sales (solar panels, batteries, inverters)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Thorough knowledge of PVSystem, SWH, and PBS products
- Ability to understand and convey technical aspects of solar energy systems
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
