Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in the City of Kisumu for:
- Assistant Cooks
- Bartenders
- Waiters
- Stewards
Team members will be responsible for daily operational tasks, such as preparing and serving food and beverages, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas.
Qualifications
Assistant Cooks:
- Knowledge in food preparation, cooking methods, portion control, and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain food quality and hygiene standards
Bartenders:
- Skills in mixing and serving beverages
- Knowledge of drink recipes and exceptional customer service abilities
- Experience in cash handling and maintaining a well-stocked bar is beneficial
Waiters:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take and serve orders accurately
- Welcoming and professional customer service experience
Stewards:
- Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas
- Assisting in kitchen operations
- Supporting the overall efficiency of the restaurant
General Requirements:
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and keen attention to detail
- Previous experience in hospitality or similar role is an advantage but not mandatory (training provided)
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism
