Acacia Premier Hotel opened its doors in June 2015 and is the first self-managed property under Simba Hospitality, a division of the leading regional group, Simba Corporation. Simba first entered the hospitality sector with marquee properties Villa Rosa Kempinski and Olare Mara Kempinski managed by the world leading hoteliers, Kempinski Hotels. Both properties have been recognised as outstanding in local and international hospitality publications.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering operations & maintenance systems
- Supervise contractors & ensure safety compliance
- Manage budgets, costs & departmental resources
- Lead, recruit, train & evaluate engineering team
- Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC & utilities systems
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Inspect building, equipment & carry out repairs
- Drive energy saving & conservation programs
- Ensure machines & equipment are in top condition
- Support projects, renovations & hotel improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering
- 10+ years progressive maintenance experience
- Experience in 5-star hotel environment preferred
- Pre-opening hotel experience is an advantage
- Strong HVAC, plumbing & electrical knowledge
- Leadership & team management skills
- Budgeting & cost-control experience
- Strong communication & multitasking ability
- Computer literacy & systems knowledge
