Reports of bias and corruption have emerged from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kisumu campus following the delayed release of the Final Qualifying exams for the Radiography and Imaging faculty.
This has come into light after an anonymous concerned party reached to Popular blogger Cyprus Nyakundi on X (formerly Twitter) as quoted bellow:
"Good morning Cyprian. Hide identity. KMTC Final Qualifying exams for the faculty of Radiography and Imaging were out on the 25th of July this month. All the other KMTC campuses got their results, but Kisumu KMTC did not receive their results until yesterday, 14th of August. Apparently there was a girl who was a 'lecturer's favourite' and had a more personal relationship with one of the lecturers who holds a very key office in the institution and is of the same 'tribe' as the lecturer. She had a supplementary in one of the units. Imagine the results had to go back to Nairobi because of one individual whose supplementary was removed because of the relationship they had with the lecturer, and the supp was given to someone who had passed the Final Qualifying Exams. So he had to be the sacrificial lamb and now apparently the guy is not graduating in December but he passed when results were out on the 25th of July. But when the results came back yesterday, he had failed. KMTC Kisumu Campus is a scam, and it's very biased. The image I have sent is the HOD commenting on the errors on 26th July, a day after the results were out, and the other text message was on Tuesday, 13th of August."
