Reports have surfaced against the principal of Ndiru Secondary School in Seme, Kisumu County, accusing him of exploiting school resources for personal financial gain and imposing unfair financial demands on students. The allegations came to light after a concerned party tipped off blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, who first broke the story on his X account, sparking widespread attention.
The principal, identified as Mr. Odipo, is accused of cutting down trees within the school compound to produce charcoal, which he allegedly sells for personal profit. Additionally, he has been accused of enforcing strict monetary demands on students, including sending them home for trip and setbook charges, even if their school fees are fully paid. Education authorities are being urged to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
