Salesperson – Phone Shop
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our phone shop team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile technology, excellent communication skills, and a knack for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting mobile phones, accessories, and related products.
- Explain product features, specifications, warranties, and pricing.
- Stay updated on the latest smartphone models and technological trends.
- Upsell products and services such as screen protectors, insurance, and mobile accessories.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and product displays.
- Address customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate channels.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- KCSE Certificate or higher; Diploma in sales/marketing is a plus.
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred (experience in mobile/electronics is an added advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of smartphones and mobile accessories.
- Customer service oriented and persuasive.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, reliable, and a team player.
