Salesperson – Phone Shop

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our phone shop team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile technology, excellent communication skills, and a knack for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting mobile phones, accessories, and related products.
  • Explain product features, specifications, warranties, and pricing.
  • Stay updated on the latest smartphone models and technological trends.
  • Upsell products and services such as screen protectors, insurance, and mobile accessories.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
  • Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and product displays.
  • Address customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate channels.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • KCSE Certificate or higher; Diploma in sales/marketing is a plus.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred (experience in mobile/electronics is an added advantage).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of smartphones and mobile accessories.
  • Customer service oriented and persuasive.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, reliable, and a team player.
