Job Opening: General Clerk – Claims & Data Entry
Are you detail-oriented, self-driven, and ready to work in a dynamic claims processing environment? A reputable organization is looking for a General Clerk / Associate Representative to handle claims documentation, electronic processing, and data entry tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage intake documents and sort, process, and vet claims for payment
- Digitally transfer claims to appropriate platforms
- Triaging flow between members and providers
- Data entry and verification using electronic devices
- Use basic office equipment (photocopier, scanner, etc.) when onsite
- Produce and format administrative documents
- Perform peer-to-peer validation checks
- Follow data governance standards for provider claims
- Work with numbers (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Use office software tools like Word, Excel, and databases
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Self-motivated and proactive
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Collaborative team player
- Quick to adapt in a virtual work environment
