We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the finance operations of a scenic beach hotel on Lake Victoria.
🌴 About the Role:
You’ll gain hands-on experience in hotel accounting, guest billing, inventory reconciliation, and daily reporting. This role is ideal for recent diploma graduates ready to grow in hospitality finance.
🧾 Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Processing- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable
- Reconcile daily cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain financial records and digital files
- Assist in payroll preparation
- Generate daily revenue summaries for rooms, F&B, and activities
- Help track inventory for the beach bar and restaurant
- Support rental reconciliation for watersport equipment
- Assist guests with billing queries
- Prepare records for audits and taxes
- Follow hotel financial procedures and filing systems
✅ Requirements:
Essential- Diploma in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good written and spoken English and Swahili
- 1 year of experience in accounting/admin role
- Familiar with QuickBooks, Sage, or hotel accounting systems
- Interest in hospitality finance or hotel operations
