🎯 Job Summary
- Diploma in Accounts, Business Administration, Health Records, or related field
- CPA training is desirable
- 1–2 years' experience in a medical billing/revenue cycle role, ideally in a hospital or insurance setting
- Familiarity with Kenyan insurance procedures (SHA, SHIF, private payers)
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify invoices for cash, credit, and insurance clients
- Submit and track insurance claims with required documentation
- Follow up on pending or rejected claims and reconcile discrepancies
- Liaise with departments and patients to resolve billing issues
- Ensure proper digital and physical filing of claim documents
- Respond to patient billing inquiries and provide accurate support
- Generate and maintain claim/invoice trackers and reports
- Support audits, reviews, and compliance with data protection laws
