Human Resource Assistant - Kisumu
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our team in administrative and operational HR tasks, ensuring smooth human resource functions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Maintain employee records, prepare HR documents, and file HR documents in compliance with policies.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment, schedule interviews, prepare induction materials.
- Employee Relations: Respond to HR inquiries, assist in engagement and grievance resolution.
- Payroll & Benefits: Collect timesheets, track leave and attendance, assist with benefits.
- Compliance: Prepare reports, support audits, promote health and safety compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Admin, or related field.
- 1-2 years experience in HR or admin role.
- Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
