Job Purpose
The Office Assistant will support day-to-day administrative operations at CELIM’s Kisumu office. Responsibilities include filing, supply management, office errands, procurement support, and logistical arrangements for staff and visitors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support project staff with filing, documentation, printing, and scanning.
- Coordinate office errands including bank runs, mail delivery, and procurement pick-ups.
- Ensure office supplies are well stocked and maintained.
- Assist in travel logistics and room bookings for staff and consultants.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared office spaces.
- Assist in asset management and inventory record keeping.
Minimum Qualifications
- KCSE Certificate (Post-secondary training is an added advantage).
- At least 1 year of administrative or clerical work experience.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
- Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
- Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude.
