Job Purpose
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact at CELIM Kenya's Kisumu office, managing all front office responsibilities including greeting visitors, answering calls, handling correspondence, and providing administrative support to the project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, staff, and partners professionally and courteously.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Receive, record, and dispatch incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
- Maintain the reception area to be clean and presentable at all times.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including data entry and filing.
- Schedule meetings, prepare rooms, and assist with hospitality for visitors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Front Office, Administration, Business, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Good interpersonal, telephone, and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and email platforms.
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
- Professional appearance, friendly attitude, and strong work ethic.
