We’re looking for a friendly and organized Office Assistant to join our beach hotel administration team in Kisumu. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of clerical and guest-facing tasks in a beautiful lakefront environment.

📝 Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support
  • Answer phone calls and greet guests at the front desk
  • Handle mail, deliveries, and office supplies
  • Assist with filing, typing, and data entry
Department Coordination
  • Support other hotel departments with admin tasks
  • Prepare basic reports and meeting schedules
  • Help manage internal communications
Guest Service Assistance
  • Support guest inquiries when front office is busy
  • Keep lobby area clean and organized
  • Assist with take-away or event coordination as needed
Hotel Operations Support
  • Post notices and staff memos
  • Help coordinate tasks between departments

✅ Requirements:

Essential
  • Relevant qualification/Experience
  • Basic computer knowledge – Microsoft Word, Excel, Email
  • Excellent communication in English and Swahili
  • Professional appearance and good interpersonal skills
Preferred
  • Certificate in Business Administration
  • Experience using office equipment (printer, scanner)
  • 6+ months experience in a hospitality/office setting
