VisionFund Kenya is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily office operations, front desk duties, and basic administrative functions. This role ensures the workplace runs smoothly and presents a welcoming environment for clients and staff.
📌 Key Responsibilities
1. Office Maintenance & Support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized office environment.
- Monitor and restock office supplies regularly.
- Assist with meeting room setup and refreshments.
2. Front Desk & Reception Duties
- Greet and direct visitors professionally.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
3. Administrative & Clerical Support
- Assist with photocopying, scanning, filing, and basic data entry.
- Support document preparation and reports for staff.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for office IT tools (printers, etc.).
4. Logistics & Coordination
- Help schedule meetings and maintain calendars.
- Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements when needed.
- Run office errands such as bank deposits and deliveries.
✅ Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience
- Minimum KCSE (C- and above).
- Diploma in Business Administration or Office Management is an added advantage.
- 1+ year experience in a similar office support or receptionist role.
Skills & Attributes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Kiswahili.
- Organized, punctual, and service-oriented.
- Team player willing to assist where needed.
🕒 Working Conditions
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Environment: Office-based with occasional field errands
