Role Summary
As a Waiter/Waitress, you are an experience-maker, responsible for providing prompt, attentive, and friendly service to enhance the guest experience, drive sales, and ensure everyone enjoys a memorable time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-energy table service, take orders, make recommendations, and serve with precision.
- Know the menu, beverages, cocktails, and ingredients to answer questions and upsell effectively.
- Process orders accurately via POS system; handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked section.
- Collaborate with bar and kitchen teams for timely order delivery.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
- Follow service and safety protocols; help set up and break down service areas.
Requirements
- Positive, outgoing, and charismatic personality.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; maintains composure under pressure.
- Fluent in English and Swahili.
- Team player with strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude.
- Previous experience as waiter/waitress in a bar, club, or busy restaurant preferred.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
