Position: Regional Sales Manager - Device Financing
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Experience: Minimum 5 years sales, 2+ years managerial role
Education: Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Finance or related
What You Will Do:
Sales Execution
- Implement sales strategies to meet regional revenue and customer acquisition targets
- Drive sales of device financing products through direct client engagement and partnerships
- Monitor and achieve KPIs: sales volume, customer conversion rates, portfolio growth
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage regional sales team
- Conduct training and coaching sessions for product knowledge and sales techniques
- Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans
Market Development
- Identify new sales opportunities and partnerships in the region
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape
- Represent company at local events and community engagements
Performance Analysis
- Track and analyze regional sales data and market trends
- Prepare regular performance reports for Head of Sales
- Adjust sales approaches based on data insights
Collaboration
- Work with marketing team on region-specific campaigns
- Collaborate with risk and product development teams
- Partner with customer service to enhance client experience
What You Need:
- Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years sales experience, 2+ years in supervisory/managerial role
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building
- Proficiency in data analysis and CRM tools
- Knowledge of Kenyan market in device financing/fintech (advantage)
- Willingness to travel within assigned region
