Position Overview: Territory Manager
Location: Kisumu Region, Kenya
Experience: Minimum 3 years in FMCG
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Industry: Beauty & Cosmetics / FMCG
Role Purpose:
As a Territory Manager with L'Oréal, you'll translate national strategy into local success for iconic beauty brands. You'll have autonomy to build strategic partnerships, pioneer market expansion, and directly influence consumer experience in the Kisumu region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Distributor Management: Oversee entire distributor lifecycle including stock levels, primary orders, and secondary sales performance
- Drive Business Growth: Achieve and exceed sell-in/sell-out turnover targets for the territory
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Strengthen L'Oréal's relationships with key customers and distributors
- Execute with Excellence: Implement impactful sales programs and in-store activations
- Generate Market Insights: Provide valuable insights to increase competitiveness
- Expand Distribution: Increase footprint across channels, brands, and categories
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG industry
- Proven experience steering sales strategies and managing territories
- Strong account management capabilities
- Expertise in channel & customer activation
- Excellent analytical skills for data-driven decision making
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects
- High ethical standards and integrity
