Duties and Responsibilities
- Commit to attend all days of training and data collection
- Obtain and document informed consent from study participants before interviews
- Conduct and record all interviews held with respondents using digital recorders
- Participate in daily debrief meetings
- Be a custodian of APHRC data collection equipment during field work
- Observe safeguarding procedures throughout the data engagement
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate, with a minimum grade of C plain
- Experience in electronic data capture methods like SurveyCTO and devices like electronic digital recorders
- Attention to detail to ensure correctness of all data entered
- Resident of the targeted counties
- Fluency in English and Swahili; local language written and spoken proficiency as an added advantage
- Be available to work full-time on the project for the duration
