Job Objective / Purpose:
Manage the reception professionally at all times and ensure that all visitors, patients, and clients are accorded timely, professional, and compassionate service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist patients with registration and ensure forms and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Process admissions and discharges.
  • Communicate with insurance companies for pre-authorization and verification.
  • Follow internal procedures for various client categories (staff, insurance, prepaid).
  • Manage and transfer incoming telephone calls appropriately.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service and feedback follow-up.
  • Comply with Avenue Healthcare governance policies and report fraud or malpractice.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

Person Specification

  • Diploma in Front Office, Business Administration, Health Records, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong customer focus, responsiveness, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, highly ethical, and responsible.
