Job Summary
The Customer Service / Enquiries Assistant will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner. The role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to provide accurate information while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries through phone, email, social media, or in-person.
- Provide accurate information on products, services, and company policies.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Maintain and update customer records in the company database.
- Ensure a professional, polite, and empathetic approach in all customer interactions.
- Assist in resolving service issues within agreed timelines.
- Follow up on pending customer requests until resolution.
- Support other departments with customer-related information when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Business Administration, Customer Service, Communication, or related field.
- Prior experience in a customer service role is an added advantage but not mandatory (entry-level applicants may be considered).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and active listening skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
