The organization has no political, religious, or governmental affiliation and is committed to serving underserved communities in the areas of Maternal, Child & Family Health; Livelihoods & Nutrition; Education & Youth Empowerment; and Quality Healthcare Financing. KMET exists to promote innovative and sustainable health and education programs among underserved communities.

Job Purpose:
The Senior Administration Officer will oversee and manage all administrative operations within the organization. They will ensure efficient systems and processes are in place to support organizational goals and compliance requirements, while providing leadership to administrative staff and supporting interdepartmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, implement policies and procedures, ensure compliance, maintain records and filing systems.
  • Asset & Facility Management: Manage office facilities, assets, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Staff Supervision & Support: Supervise administrative staff, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Event & Travel Coordination: Organize logistics for meetings, workshops, and staff travel.
  • Safety & Security: Support health, safety, and security protocols and act as liaison during emergencies.
  • Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare and monitor budgets, assist in audits, and prepare reports.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in administration, preferably in the NGO sector.
  • Proven ability to manage administrative teams and operations.
  • Knowledge of NGO operations, donor compliance, and procurement procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and administrative tools.
