The Alliance consists of more than 1000 member organizations across more than 92 countries, working together through country, regional, and global networks.
Position Overview
We are looking for a self-motivated communications professional to join the MenEngage Alliance team. You will work closely with the Communications Manager to deliver on day-to-day communications and support the implementation of our communications and knowledge management strategy.
Key Competencies Required
- At least 5 years of experience working in non-profit organization communications
- Commitment to women's rights and gender justice for all
- Experience with feminist-informed, decolonial organizational models
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English
- Spanish and/or French language skills desirable
- Strong graphic design and visual content creation abilities
- Deep understanding of intersectional feminism and masculinities field
- Digital storytelling and social media expertise
- Video storytelling and editing skills (desirable)
- Experience with marketing tools and CRM systems
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communications plans for reports, events, and activities
- Manage social media content across multiple channels
- Coordinate the Global Communications Working Group
- Mobilize members and partners for joint campaigns
- Manage website content at menengage.org
- Coordinate the global newsletter every 2 weeks
- Work with external creative professionals
