Location: Awasi, Kisumu County, Kenya
Position: Facilities Supervisor
Experience: Facilities management and team supervision

About The Role

As a Facilities Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining the site, ensuring daily facility operations run smoothly, and supporting the comfort and mobility of staff and visitors. You will oversee drivers, coordinate staff movements, manage visitor accommodation, and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute proactive facilities strategies aligned with operational growth plans
  • Perform daily facility checks and monitor infrastructure (power, water, workspace)
  • Oversee site cleanliness, minor maintenance tasks, and workspace organization
  • Coordinate driver schedules and manage vehicle availability for staff and service movements
  • Manage house accommodation arrangements for visiting staff
  • Supervise support staff and drivers, providing task-level guidance
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of drivers and support staff
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide on-the-job coaching
  • Ensure facility compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management and site operations
  • Experience in workplace services and driver/logistics coordination
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance operational work with light leadership responsibilities
  • Experience in team supervision and staff coordination
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
