Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Truck Loader responsible for loading and unloading goods onto delivery trucks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will help verify shipping routes, check order accuracy, and maintain warehouse operations.
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Deadline: Hiring on a rolling basis
Education: Minimum Form 4 Certificate
Starting Date: Immediately
Duties & Responsibilities
- Loading packaged shipments onto shipping trucks
- Verifying and counting packages prior to loading
- Operating hand trucks for loading individual packages
- Loading outgoing shipments and transporting to customer premises
- Recording changes to scheduled shipments
- General warehouse maintenance and organization
- Conducting safety checks and vehicle inspections
- Helping drivers verify shipping route schedules
- Checking orders for accuracy prior to shipping
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Form 4 certificate or above
- Minimum 2 years experience in delivery driving
- Experience in FMCG or logistics environment preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Physical fitness for lifting and carrying heavy goods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused approach to service
- Ability to manage delivery schedules and paperwork
- Familiarity with local routes and areas
- Attention to detail and accuracy
