Basic Salary: Ksh 27,900 - 36,680
House Allowance: Ksh 3,850 - 4,500

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement learning activities that promote cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development of children aged 3-6 years
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning materials
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of learners to monitor progress
- Integrate play-based learning and creative arts into daily lessons
- Maintain a conducive learning environment through proper classroom arrangement
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for children
- Manage classroom behavior and establish positive discipline practices
- Identify and report any signs of abuse, neglect, or developmental issues
- Provide basic first aid and maintain records of any incidents
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, performance, and progress
- Prepare regular reports on child development for school management and parents
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding child's progress and concerns
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
- Engage with the local community to promote early childhood education
Requirements for Appointment
- Kenyan Citizen
- KCSE mean Grade D (Plain) or equivalent
- Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education
- Basic Training in Competence Based Curriculum (CBC/CBE)
- Registration with Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Fulfilled requirements of Chapter Six of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya
Added Advantage: Upgraded Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDETCE) and Special Needs Education
