About the Opportunity
WOVOP is looking for a passionate and dedicated Youth, Peace & Security Consultation Facilitator. Are you passionate about youth engagement, peacebuilding, and community empowerment? This role is perfect for you!
Position Requirements
- Experience in implementing the Youth, Peace & Security agenda
- Strong knowledge of UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (UNSCR 2250)
- Proven ability to facilitate trainings and workshops
- Able to engage rural and marginalized youth effectively
- Must be based in Kisumu County (residency requirement)
Key Focus Areas
- Facilitate youth consultations on peace and security issues
- Implement Youth, Peace & Security agenda activities
- Engage with marginalized and rural youth communities
- Organize and conduct peacebuilding workshops
- Bridge youth perspectives with peace and security frameworks
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in peacebuilding or community development
- Experience working with youth groups and organizations
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Understanding of local context and challenges in Kisumu County
- Commitment to youth empowerment and social change
