Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Kisumu for a Fumigation Technician. The Fumigation Technician will be responsible for conducting pest control evaluations, implementing fumigation treatments, maintaining fumigation equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The technician will interact with clients to provide guidance on maintaining pest-free environments and submit detailed reports on completed work.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in fumigation, pest control, and the use of related equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with fumigation regulations
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct thorough site inspections
- Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in safety and hygiene services is an advantage
- Possession of relevant certifications or training in fumigation or pest control
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in diverse environments
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Compliance to OSHA Act, NEMA & PCPB guidelines
