Job Description: School Cook
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and reviewing menu
- Supervising food preparation and production
- Maintaining stock items for food production
- Receiving fresh produce as per specifications
- Forecasting food production needs
- Maintaining food production records
- Taking stock of the food stores
- Supervising kitchen assistants
Job Specifications:
- Training in catering/hospitality preferred
- Institutional/large-scale cooking experience is an advantage
- Certificate of medical examination in line with the Food, Drugs and Chemical Substance Act
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
