Offloading & Issuing Supervisor Job in Kisumu - Warehouse Logistics
Position: Offloading & Issuing Supervisor
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in warehouse/logistics supervision
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Oversee daily operations of receiving/shipping clerks, forklift operators, and loading/unloading teams
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards
Performance & Efficiency
- Monitor KPIs for timeliness in forklift put-away, truck loading, in-storage duration, and loading/unloading efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement in operational workflows
Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
- Address and resolve customer complaints or operational exceptions promptly
- Collaborate with upstream/downstream partners, shipping warehouses, and clients to deliver seamless warehouse services
Safety & Compliance
- Implement and enforce safety management practices across all operational stages
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in warehouse/logistics supervision with expertise in offloading/issuing operations
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in office software (e.g., Excel) and data analysis
- Language: Strong English communication skills (verbal/written)
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, stakeholder management, and team leadership
