Job Overview: Debt Recovery Officer
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Salary: Ksh 15,300 gross + performance bonuses
License: A2 Driving License (MANDATORY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit clients with overdue cases, persuade them to make payments and ensure payment compliance
- Repossession of offline Bodas from non-compliant clients
- Handle debt recovery and asset repossession in a professional manner
- Work closely with police officers and government agencies regarding Mogo financed assets
- Stay informed on new measures and laws regarding bikes and their impact on operations
- Prepare detailed investigation reports on missing bikes
- Compile incident reports and recommendations for future prevention
- Develop innovative tracking and monitoring methods for assets
- Prepare weekly and monthly recovery reports and strategies
Requirements:
- A2 Driving License is a MUST
- Previous experience in debt recovery (added advantage)
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Self-motivated with initiative to solve complex problems
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Fluent in English and Swahili
