Language Assistant Programme France 2026 - Teach English in France for 7 Months
Program Overview
The Language Assistant Programme offers you the opportunity to teach English in France for 7 months, to students/pupils of all ages. Each year, about 170 positions are offered to Kenyan students to teach in public schools in all regions of France and in the French Overseas Departments.
Key Dates & Application Timeline
- November 15, 2025 - January 15, 2026: Submission of applications
- January 2026: Pre-selection on file
- January - February 2026: Interviews
- May 2026: Announcement of interview results
- June 2026: Announcement of assignments
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Be between 20 and 35 years old on the start date of the program
- Be enrolled in university, TVET or Alliance Française
- Have studied mainly in Kenya
- Have a minimum B1 level certificate in French
