Job Overview: Adherence Counsellor
Location: Kisumu, Kenya
Experience: Minimum 1 year in HIV care setting
Closing Date: THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2026
Key Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Counselling, Psychology or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience in HIV care settings
- Prior experience working in HIV clinic setup in a public hospital
- Current Certificate of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) - MUST
- Current certificate in Human Subject Protection - MUST
- Practicing licence from Counsellors & Psychologist Board - MUST
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in data entry and electronic health records
Added Advantages:
- Additional training in adherence counseling or motivational interviewing
- Experience in clinical studies
- Empathy and strong interpersonal skills
